2026 show information
We are delighted to send across the information for our 2026 10 year anniversary show 10 years of dance taking place on Sunday 19th July 2026 at Wythenshawe Forum. This site will include all information that you need for the show and will be updated periodically between now and the show. Information regarding costumes and costume costs will be sent out in person from January 2026, so please make sure to check your child's dance bag for these and get in touch with us if you have not received it!
IMPORTANT - to ensure that we can keep these shows going every year, we are in need of chaperones and DBS checked helpers to volunteer backstage. Please get in touch with us ASAP if you are willing to apply for a chaperone licence (this will be paid for by EPDS but you will need to fill out the application yourself).

frequently asked
questions
MY CHILD DOES NOT WANT TO TAKE PART IN THE SHOW, IS THIS OK?
Absolutely. The show is open to all students and we highly encourage participation, however if your child does not want to take part or cannot, please do not worry.
CAN I STAY BACKSTAGE WITH MY CHILD?
Only licensed chaperones and DBS checked individuals can be backstage. Parents are permitted to look after their own children in a separate changing room but MUST stay for both shows. Backstage helpers (chaperones) do not have to help at both performances. Please get in touch for more information about this.
ARE COSTUMES BOUGHT OR HIRED?
On your costume list, there may be a mixture of items that we will be hiring, you will be purchasing from us and items that you need to supply yourselves. All hired costumes will be kept with EP DANCE Studios for the entirety of show weekend due to the supplier's policy. Hired costumes allow us to have high quality costumes for a fraction of the price. However, we are limited to quite specific costumes through hiring therefore there may be some items which you will buy from us instead which you will keep. There may also be some items which you need to supply yourself, such as socks and leggings. Everything that you need to buy yourself and that we will be supplying is on your costume form.
THE SHOW DAY IS LONG AND I'M WORRIED THAT MY CHILD WILL GET TIRED.
Though it is a long day, for most children there is a lot of waiting around backstage. There is plenty of rest time during the show itself as well as before and in between the two shows.
WILL MY CHILD BE IN BOTH SHOWS?
Yes. We run the same performance twice as the children work so hard for so many months so it gives them more than one chance to perform. It also means that those who are chaperoning can help at one show and watch the other from the audience.
CAN I TAKE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS DURING THE PERFORMANCE?
Photography and videography is not allowed from the audience and you will be asked to leave the theatre if you are doing this. The show is professionally filmed (this year this will be digital download only rather than DVDs) and we will also have a photographer. We cannot allow photography and videography from audience members for safeguarding reasons.
